Standoff

The Cascadia Alpha, Cade Warren, would have never thought that his true mate would be the sister of his worst enemy Warren Pellini, but when Grace Pellini offers to supply the Nationally Allied Packs with information about her evil brother, he discovers that she plays on the right side.

Unfortunately her information also endangers her life and Cade has more than his hands full with protecting Grace, fighting Warren and finding a key to disable Warren’s biological weapon. Will there be a happy-end for Cade and Grace?

Lauren Dane delivered with STANDOFF another great werewolf story with lots of heated encounters between the hero and the heroine, plus a very evil twisted minded villain. It is an action-filled story, but there are some violent scenes that might not be something for faint-hearted readers.

STANDOFF is the latest installment of Ms. Dane’s wonderful Cascadia series, which started at Ellora’s Cave and now continues at Samhain Publishing. I highly recommend that you read the previous books, because the books are strongly connected with each other. Many of the main characters of the previous books appear in this one again, which I absolutely loved, because it’s great to re-visit dearly loved characters again.

I really hope that this won’t be the last installment of the Cascadia series, because there are lots of secondary characters that are practically screaming to get their own stories.

I can recommend this book to all fans of steamy hot Alpha heroes as well as Werewolf stories. You won’t be disappointed.
